FAQ

The tour begins when we pick you up from Reykjavik at approximately 9 p.m. (21:00). We’ll travel to the remote area, free from light pollution. Our guides are specially trained to find the best Northern Lights watching location, depending on the season, weather conditions, and auroral activity forecasts. As the estimates change daily, we can’t tell where exactly our hunt will take us, but thanks to our specially designed minibusses, we can reach all the offbeat locations with ease!

With a bit of luck, we might witness the most awe-inspiring sight Iceland has to offer – the dance of the Northern Lights. During this show, the sky lights up with shades of green, yellow, purple, and pink, leaving us no choice but to admire this surreal scenery with open mouths and hearts. The most common are green and yellow auroras. Violet, blue, and rose are less frequent, while red auroras are rare and exceptionally breathtaking.

While you soak in the views, our guides will capture the moment with complimentary pictures that you’ll receive right after the tour.
