Join us for a thrilling Northern Lights hunt far away from the city lights! This tour is perfect for travelers who enjoy small group experiences and are eager to witness nature's greatest show displayed in the starry Icelandic sky.
We are going to take you on an epic adventure into the beautiful countryside of Iceland. Our experienced guides will track down the best location for witnessing this colorful phenomena and snap amazing pictures of you under the dancing Aurora.
Note: The tour is operated by our trusted partner. The minimum allowed age for travelers is 6 years.
Your Northern Lights adventure begins with the excitement of the chase. After your guide picks you up in Reykjavik, you’ll head out into the Icelandic night in search of the aurora. Since the forecast changes from day to day, we can’t say exactly where the journey will lead—but we can promise this: we’ll leave the city behind and venture into the quiet darkness where the northern lights shine brightest. We might find ourselves in Hvalfjörður, Þingvellir, Reykjanes, or tucked away in some lesser-known spot in South Iceland. Traveling by minibus gives us the flexibility to reach hidden locations that larger tours often miss.
With a bit of luck, we might witness the most awe-inspiring sight Iceland has to offer – the dance of the Northern Lights. During this show, the sky lights up with shades of green, yellow, purple, and pink, leaving us no choice but to admire this surreal scenery with open mouths and hearts. The most common are green and yellow auroras. Violet, blue, and rose are less frequent, while red auroras are rare and exceptionally breathtaking.
While you soak in the views, our guides will capture the moment with complimentary pictures that you’ll receive right after the tour.
