About

Your Day Tours is a family owned company established in april 2015. Three brothers and their father run the business together bringing something from their different backgrounds, from finance, tourism and the media industry.

We have no plans to become a big bus company. We have few small busses and want to keep our tours personal and fun.

Our main goal is simply to move people. Not only between places – but also and especially with the magnificent history and nature of Iceland.

Our main focus has always been on small group day tours and now we are operating three tours in the southern part of Iceland.

We go every day all year both on the Golden Circle and South Coast and we only have mini buses.

When people come back from our tours with a smile and some good memories, we are happy.

Your Day Tours team

We are so lucky to have the best of the best in our team. As we are only doing these tours on mini buses we have driverguides in all our tours. We always put safety in first place but then we also try to be fun, kind, informative and helpful.

We play a lot of Icelandic music and tell you stories and jokes about Iceland and Icelanders. All the members of our team are getting great reviews on Tripadvisor, Facebook and all the sites that sell our tours.

Our vehicles

We operate all tours on a Mercedes Benz Sprinter 2015, 2016 and 2017 model with free WiFi on board.

We also give you a little taste of Icelandic snacks.

We are only travelling in small groups, so there will never be more than 19 passenger on each bus.

All our tours starts in the capital city which is the heart of Iceland´s cultural, economic and political activity. The first permanent settlements in Iceland is believed to have been established at Reykjavík around year 870. Steam from hot springs in the region inspired Reykjavík´s name, which you can translate to Smoky Bay.

In this 9 hour tour we stop at all the main sights of the Golden Circle; Þingvellir National Park, Gullfoss waterfall, Faxi waterfall and at the Geysir area.
